FPT’s certified range delivers power, reliability, and innovation through reliable vehicle engines designed for demanding on-road applications. Covering the F1, NEF, and CURSOR families, the portfolio spans displacements from 2.3 to 12.9 liters, with power outputs from 85 to 442 kW (116 to 600 hp) and maximum torque up to 2,850 Nm. These solutions provide cost-effective performance for daily operations of commercial vehicles, including LCV and minibuses.

All FPT engine families include natural gas engines, delivering clean, low-emission performance with reduced CO₂ impact. Engineered for low noise, long service life, and extended maintenance intervals of up to 50,000 km, they ensure daily savings and compliance with current emission standards. The natural gas range covers displacements from 3 to 12.9 liters, power outputs from 100 to 382 kW (136 to 520 hp), and torque up to 2,500 Nm. With over 100,000 units sold since 1997 and more than 60% European market share, FPT solutions stand among the most sustainable transport engines available today.

Speed, reliability, and consistency

Moving goods is a daily necessity, which means light commercial vehicles must deliver high performance, low emissions, and quiet, reliable operation. Our light commercial vehicle engines provide the strength and efficiency required to power a wide range of missions, making them ideal engines for vans and trucks as well as engines for urban delivery vehicles. We are the only manufacturer offering two dedicated engines for light commercial vehicles and minibuses : the F1A 2.3L engine and the F1C 3L engine, the latter also available as a natural gas engine for light commercial vehicles. Power ranges from 85 to 152 kW (116–207 hp), with torque from 340 to 470 Nm.

Built on an industrial-derived architecture, our long life commercial vehicle engines ensure exceptional durability, with a rated life of up to 400,000 km B10 and installation on vehicles with GVW up to 8.55 t. They stand among the most reliable engines for commercial vehicles, thanks to a duplex timing chain that requires no maintenance and operates more quietly and cost-effectively than traditional gear-driven systems. Maintenance efficiency is another key advantage, with oil change intervals of up to 50,000 km. Optimized for both transverse and longitudinal installation, the engines feature an ATS system with dual SCR, designed to perform efficiently in urban missions with reduced loads and low exhaust temperatures, as well as in suburban operations. The F1C engine is fully compliant with global emission standards, including Euro VI, GBVI, JP24, and PROCONVE P8.
