Description
Designed for the most demanding missions of construction equipment, NEF series is the main example of FPT Industrial’s technological excellence. Since 2001 more than 1.7 million engines have been produced for a large number of applications: agriculture, construction equipment, on-road, marine and power generation.
With best performances in this category in terms of both power and torque, fuel efficiency and reliability, NEF series stands out for its flexibility, featuring 4 (N45) and 6 (N67) cylinders configurations, with either structural or non-structural design and a wide range of options to customize the solution according to the customers’ needs.
Thanks to a EGR-free architecture, latest generation Common Rail injection,WG turbocharger and redesigned hardware, NEF engines ensure optimal combustion efficiency resulting in low fuel consumption and high power density.
Performance increase compared to Stage IV / Tier 4Final with same engine displacement and no layout changes: up to 150 kW on N45 (+15%).
