F5 series represents the compact and flexible solution for light and midrange applications, delivering high performance with low operating costs.
Engines of this series offer top performances in the category with a very compact layout, which is key for construction equipment applications in this size. To fulfill Stage V emissions requirements, F36 features the HI-eSCR2 system, a maintenance-free system marking a further step in FPT Industrial’s long-term SCR experience.
While meeting Stage V emissions, HI-eSCR2 aftertreatment does not require layout changes compared to previous Stage IV / Tier 4 Final, avoiding significant machine redesign, mainly with respect to the unchanged cooling requirements across emission stages.
F34 Stage V for applications below 56kW is equipped with a compact DOC+DPF solution, ensuring ease of use and low operating costs.
No changes in engine and ATS dimensions nor in cooling package: same installation for Stage IV and Stage V HI-eSCR2, together with low cooling requirements thanks to low rate EGR, on F36, and compact DOC+DPF solution on F34, guarantee system compactness for
