Description

The F5 series represents the compact and flexible solution for lig​ht applications delivering high performance with low operating costs.

F5 features a 4 cylinder architecture, 3,2 liters displacement, with turbocharger and ​aftercooler on top power ratings.​

Overall compactness and several configuration options makes F5 suitable for compact construction machines and industrial power units as well as for installation on small agricultural tractors with structural cylinder block.

To comply with Stage IIIA/ Tier 3 standards, F5 engines adop​t internal EGR, or external on top ratings, ensuring the right performance and fuel economy with minimized impact on installation.​​​

Integrated components design and low cooling requirements thanks to internal EGR, guarantee the overall engine compactness for easy installation and high vehicle maneuverability and visibility.

Specific design allows to install fuel and oil filters on the same engine side for easier and faster maintenance.
Moreover F5 adopts tried-and-tested technical solutions (such as mechanical rotary pump injection and fixed-geometry turbocharger) to guarantee easy and rapid repair and best in class 600 hours oil service intervals, minimizing total cost of ownership and vehicle downtime.

Based on proven mechanical rotary pump, the F5 engine has a direct fuel injection system for accurate fuel delivery, representing the optimal solution in terms of performance and flexibility of use, with 100% biodiesel compatibility.
F5 Series is turbocharged with air-to-air aftercooler system depending on power output for prompt and fast operation.
