Designed to meet the most demanding requirements of agricultural, construction and industrial missions, the NEF Series marks FPT Industrial technological excellence since 2001, strong of more than 1.7 million engines produced for the widest range of applications (agriculture, construction, on-road, marine and power generation).

Featuring best-in-class power and torque performance, fuel efficiency and reliability, the NEF Series stands out for its flexibility, available in 4 (N45) and 6 (N67) cylinders configurations, with non-structural and structural design and a large set of options or tailor-made solutions to meet customer needs.

Thanks to FPT’s pioneering EGR free combustion and exclusive, patented HI-eSCR2 aftertreament technology, NEF engines represent the productivity benchmark in midrange engines, with further enhancements in performance and efficiency with newly designed Stage V engines.

Maintaining the same engine dimensions and layout of previous versions, cylinder head, pistons and turbochargers have been redesigned for performance increase

N67, with 6 cylinder / 4 valves per cylinder architecture, now reaches 260 kW, 13% higher than previous Stage IV / Tier 4Final version

New filters with increased capacity and clogging sensor are capable of up to 1200 hours service interval, the longest in the market and twice the previous interval. This new feature comes along with the innovative HI-eSCR2 after-treatment system, which comply with Stage V regulations with a maintenance-free solution, contributing to low operating costs and avoiding any downtime during machine operation for un-necessary machine stop for parked regeneration.

Additional improvements in fluid consumption, leveraging on reduced frictions, grants leading efficiency compared to competitors using EGR and DPF.

Lean design with no EGR and single stage turbocharging is a made-to-last solution ensuring maximum reliability. Thanks to the dimension-neutral approach granted by HI-eSCR2, Stage V solution requires no machine layout changes nor cooling redesign compared to Stage IV.

The HI-eSCR system is regeneration-free, allowing continuous operation avoiding unplanned stops during daily activities, especially when operating in indoor environments, improving uptime.

MAINTENANCE
Avoiding the use of DPF, the FPT’s patented HI-eSCR system represents a maintenance free “fit a forget” solution ensuring low operating costs and maximizing vehicle uptime.

NEF reliability is proven by more than 1.3 million units produced since 2001, ensuring robustness and durability in every working condition.
HI-eSCR system is relying on a longstanding and proven experience on SCR technology based on more than 650,000 units produced since 2005.
