As a protagonist of a sustainable future, FPT Industrial is bringing a complete powertrain portfolio to Fenatran 2024, from November 4 to 8, at São Paulo Expo, in São Paulo. As a global leader in On-Road applications, the Iveco Group brand wants to take advantage of its participation in the main fair in Latin America in the road freight transport sector to reaffirm its position in the segment, with a complete offer of internal combustion engines (ICE), its leadership in natural gas and the innovation of the ePropulsion systems line, with the commitment to providing efficient and high-performance solutions for OEMs.

This vision is in perfect harmony with the brand's product strategy, which is based on two main pillars. On the one hand, it aims to continue investing in even more sustainable engines, with an alternative approach focused on multi-fuels, and on the other, it aims to position itself in the long term as a supplier of zero-emission solutions, expanding its value chain to the electrification area, through ePropulsions and energy storage solutions.

“We see great opportunities in Latin America, where we have more than 700,000 engines in circulation. More than 60% of our sales are to customers outside the CNH and Iveco Group,” says Carlos Tavares, president of FPT Industrial for Latin America.

The only player in the On-Road segment with at least one alternative fuel product for its entire range, FPT Industrial continues to invest in even more sustainable internal combustion engines, presenting at Fenatran 2024 high-tech products, diesel (HVO) and natural gas (including biomethane).

“In Latin America, we understand that the solution to decarbonization begins with technologies that are appropriate to the region’s great biofuel potential. In this context, FPT Industrial has led different projects as part of this multi-energy strategy,investing in the use of natural gas, including biomethane”, explains João Abreu, Product Marketing specialist at FPT Industrial.

GAS SOLUTIONS: 100,000 ENGINES PRODUCED FPT

Industrial recently celebrated an impressive milestone: the production of its 100,000th natural gas engine at its Bourbon-Lancy plant in France. FPT Industrial now offers the widest range of natural gas engines available on the market, providing solutions from 136 to 520 hp for light, medium and heavy vehicles in the On-Road segment, and from 100 to 266 hp for Off-Road machines.

Customer focus is the priority of FPT Industrial's Customer Service area, which also presents the Reman line developed in partnership with IVECO, and Repower solutions, together with its Distributor Network, at Fenatran 2024.
