CURSOR series is FPT's flagship engine family for off-road, designed to provide best in class performance for equipment with highly intensive missions, ensuring low operating costs, high performance and maximum productivity.

Specifically designed for heavy duty off-road applications, Cursor Series' proven robustness and reliability leverage on structural strength, representing the right solution for the most demanding agriculture, construction and industrial applications (such as large-size tractors, harvesting machines, wheel loaders, forestry equipment).

Available in 3 engine models for Tier3 / StageIIIA applications (8.7, 10.3 and 12.9-litre displacement), Cursor engines come with a 6-cylinder architecture featuring Common Rail or electronic unit pump injection, to ensure optimal combustion efficiency; proven turbocharger architectures allow airflow optimization to deliver high performance and low fuel consumption. 

Cursor 10 features 10.3-litre displacement with a reliable and efficient 1,800 bar Electronic Unit Injector system and FGT turbocharger to ensure performance and productivity in heavy duty operations.

To comply with StageIIIA / Tier3 standards, Cursor engines adopt Internal EGR NOx reduction technology, ensuring overall performance with minimized impact on installation​.
