Our NEF series is the reference in its category for flexibility, reliability, low fuel consumption and high performance.

NEF engines are offered in 4- and 6-cylinder configurations with 4.5 a​​nd 6.7 liters displace​ment, able to cover different applications such as agriculture, construction, road transport, industrial, marine and power generation.

A wide range of options and tailor-made solutions are available to meet customer needs. For off road applications, both structural ​and non-structural engine versions are offered for agricultural and construction/industrial applications.

​​Thanks to our EGR free combustion and to our exclusive patented HI-eSCR aftertreament technology, NEF engines represent the benchmark solution for fuel efficiency and low operating costs.​​​

PRODUCTIVITY AND EFFICIENCY
Thanks to a NO EGR architecture, latest generation Common Rail injection and WG turbocharger, NEF engines ensure optimal combustion efficiency resulting in low fuel consumption and competitive performance (+3% torque density Vs. market average).
The HI-eSCR system is regeneration-free, allowing continuous operation avoiding unplanned stops during daily activities, especially when operating in indoor environments, improving uptime.

MAINTENANCE
Avoiding the use of DPF, the FPT’s patented HI-eSCR system represents a maintenance free “fit a forget” solution ensuring low operating costs and maximizing vehicle uptime.

RELIABILITY
NEF reliability is proven by more than 1.3 million units produced since 2001, ensuring robustness and durability in every working condition.
HI-eSCR system is relying on a longstanding and proven experience on SCR technology based on more than 650,000 units produced since 2005.

COMPACTNESS
Both NEF engines and Hi-eSCR system are offered in a compact and lightweight design to reduce packaging and facilitate installation on vehicle, offering a wide range of aftertreatment layouts for customized solutions.
EGR-free technology reduces cooling power needs, further simplifying OEMs’ installation.

PERFORMANCE AND EFFICIENCY
Mechanical or Common Rail versions, with fixed geometry turbocharger or wastegate, delivers high power and torque output, with competitive fuel efficiency.

MAINTENANCE
Best in class for oil change intervals (600 hs) resulting in reduced vehicle downtime and improved productivity. Lean engine layout, designed to ensure fast and easy maintenance operations.
