In order to remain at the forefront of technological advancements and effectively respond to market needs, the Brand created ePowertrain department in 2018 and opened a dedicated ePowertrain Plant in Turin (Italy) in October 2022. With main hubs based in the R&D centers in Arbon, Switzerland, Coventry, UK and Turin, Italy, the ePowertrain department is focused on developing the powertrains of tomorrow, today.

FPT Industrial’s high-performance, reliable and top-quality ePowertrain range is completed by cutting edge battery storage and management solutions.
In collaboration with Microvast, a Texas-based company and market leader in ultra-fast-charging, long-life battery power systems, FPT Industrial has started battery pack development and production suitable for commercial vehicles, minibuses and buses, featuring a multipack option for both goods and people transport missions.
To fulfill our commitment to high-performance and reliable electrification solutions, thanks to the acquisition of Potenza Technology, we offer a range of cutting-edge Battery Management Systems, customized to maximize battery life according to mission requirements.
In line with FPT Industrial’s strong commitment to reducing environmental footprints, the battery packs are assembled in the carbon-neutral ePowertrain plant, located in Turin.
