POWERING UP PARIS

From February 24th to 28th, FPT Industrial joined its partner Bimotor Spa, one of the world’s largest distributors of diesel engines for industrial and marine applications, at the Paris International Agribusiness Show (SIMA).

In line with the latest emissions standards, FPT Industrial took the opportunity to show visitors at the Paris-Nord Villepinte center convention its consolidated Stage V portfolio, which sets the standard for environmental-friendly and low-maintenance powertrains.

At Bimotor’s stand, three FPT Industrial engines were highlighted: F36,N67 and F34 - all of them are compliant to Stage V and deliver performance, simplicity and fast response, each with characteristics best suited for different needs. The N67 and the F34 engines were also exposed in PowerPack configuration, which is a smart installation solution that gathers all key after-treatment components into one compact pre-assembled set. The pack can come engine mounted or as a loose pack, and for each case, all electrical signals and connections are managed by a single cable for fast and reliable linking to the engine and machine electronic management system.

FPT also exposed its engines with its sister brand Case IH. The Versum CVXDrive, launched at the event, is the new lightweight tractor line with four models ranging from 100 to 130 hp, which has already receivedthe “Machine of the Year” award for the mid-size tractor category. The award, hosted at SIMA, celebrates the best innovations in agricultural technology, decided by a media jury that represents the leading European agricultural publications.

FPT’s N45 Stage V is the engine that helped the machine secure the prestigious accolade, delivering maximized power, compliance to the most recent emission standards through an advanced and maintenance-free after-treatment technology, while improving performance and keeping a low Total Cost of Ownership.

The XL Tractor category of the award was also won by Case IH, with the high-horsepower Quadtrac CVXDrive range. These machines are equipped with FPT’s Cursor 13, delivering a power of 470, 500 and 540 hp. The engine was developed specifically for the most demanding heavy-duty needs, ensuring performance, robustness and reliability even in highly demanding operating conditions.
