FPT INDUSTRIAL TAKES THE FOOTBALL WORLD CHAMPIONS AROUND PARIS TO CELEBRATE

On July 15th, the French national football team won its second World Cup, beating Croatia 4-2. The final was held in Moscow, and the next day the team returned to France, where their bus, powered by FPT Industrial was waiting for them.

The bus’ engine is an FPT Industrial Cursor 9, mounted on an Iveco Magelys, a coach which was awarded as the ‘International Coach of the Year’ in 2016. This engine is produced at FPT Industrial’s Bourbon-Lancy facility, in the Bourgogne region. The French plant is, in fact, the birthplace of the Cursor family, and produces the entire Cursor line-up, including the Natural Gas engine models, such as the Cursor 9 NG and the Cursor 13 NG. The engine powering the World Cup winners’ coach is, instead, a Cursor 9 capable of delivering a max power of 400hp and a max torque of 1700Nm @ 1200rpm.
