Nohemí Pérez is the winner of the third edition of the FPT For Sustainable Art Award, a project established by FPT Industrial in collaboration with Artissima 2022. Presented by the mor charpentier gallery based in Paris and Bogotá, the Colombian artist was chosen by an international jury including Hélène Guenin, Director of MAMAC – Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Nice; Markus Reymann, Co-founder and Director of TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary of Vienna; and artist Gian Maria Tosatti, star of the Italian Pavilion at the 2022 Venice Biennale. In her award-winning work Apuntes para quemas, Nohemí Pérez uses charcoal to represent the endangered species of her native region on the border between Venezuela and Colombia, where deforestation and illegal mining are taking a heavy toll on the environment.

Carbon Neutrality was the theme chosen by FPT Industrial for this year’s edition, as one of the main focuses of the Brand’s commitment to sustainability. A commitment put into practice with a holistic approach including all projects, products and processes.
