FPT Industrial, the Iveco Group brand dedicated to the design, production and sale of low-environmental impact powertrains, attended the 2024 World Design Cities Conference (WDCC 2024), hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Government and jointly organized by UNESCO, held in Shanghai from September 27th to 30th, 2024. The important theme of this year's conference was “Design Reframing Growth”. The conference sought to explore new avenues for high-quality development driven by design, highlighting the city's dedication to integrating design into all facets of urban and daily life.

 

FPT Industrial was invited to participate in the exhibition and showcase innovative technologies related to the eAX 375-R, the brand’s high-performance, high-efficiency solution designed for medium and heavy-duty vehicles. This exhibition highlighted the brand’s commitment to promoting sustainable industry development, a path towards net zero-emissions mobility which FPT Industrial has accelerated with the establishment of its ePowertrain plant in 2022, contributing to the industry's transformation to a greener and more sustainable future.

 

 

The brand’s dedicated wall gave visitors the opportunity to learn more about the eAX 375-R, suitable for medium-heavy duty 4x2 & 6x2 vehicles up to 29 tonnes GVW, heavy-duty 6x4 vehicles up to 49 tonnes GCVW and for intercity and bus applications. Thanks to its multi-speed solution, the eAX 375-R delivers high performance and outstanding efficiency. The design developed by FPT’s engineering team allows the electric axle to be scalable and extremely adaptable to meet different powertrain requirements. As such, FPT Industrial’s know-how can help customers meet their requirements every day.
