IVECO AND FPT INDUSTRIAL, THE WINNING COMBINATION AT THE QUEEN OF THE RALLY
After 14 stages and over 8,500 km, including almost 5,000 km of specials on courses - pushing the mighty FPT Industrial engines to the limit - across the Empty Quarter desert, the first place on the podium at the Dakar 2023 was awarded to Janus van Kasteren Jr driving the IVECO Powerstar #502. In addition, Martin van de Brink in IVECO Powerstar #506 climbed also onto the podium in third position, immediately followed by Mitchel van den Brink in IVECO Powerstar #511. All the IVECO trucks of both teams, Boss Machinery Team De Rooty IVECO and Eurol Team De Rooy IVECO, were equipped with the powerful and reliable partners 13 liter FPT Industrial Cursor 13, for the occasion in rally version but not different compared to those installed on standard vehicles in terms of power, efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
