Great celebrations this October at FPT Industrial’s plant in Turin as the two millionth NEF engine rolled off the production line. A production record which speaks volumes about the positive results achieved by an engine which was launched in 2000 and has since seen an enormous range of successes. It is designed for the most demanding applications and available in four- or six-cylinder versions powered by diesel or natural gas, ranging from 3.9 to 6.7 liters. In short, there is an NEF for everyone, and everybody wants one, given that there are 1,800 different versions available for all the main industrial applications: agriculture, construction, on-road, marine and power generation. Naturally, all this would not have been possible without the professionalism, commitment and team spirit showed by all employees at the Turin plant who have created, built and continuously improved this record-setting engine over the last 20 years.
