Once again, FPT Industrial is ahead of the competition and, thanks to the technological excellence of its solutions, places customers who use its engines in an advantageous position in the most competitive markets.

This is exactly what happened in South Korea, where the Korean Ministry of Environment (KMOE) issued the first Stage V certification for off-road engines to FPT Industrial, specifically for the NEF6 engine, used in in the heavy-duty and long wheelbase tractors, as well as in wheel loaders.

This means that agriculture and construction machinery manufacturers who use FPT Industrial engines can market their Stage V certified vehicles immediately in the South Korean market, giving their customers the chance to be as productive as always and more sustainable than ever well ahead of the legal deadline, set at December 1st, 2020 for construction machinery and July 1st, 2021 for agricultural machinery.

The patented HI-eSCR2 technology was decisive for the direct issuance of the certificate by the Ministry. This is the only technology able to meet the Stage V emissions requirements without the need to modify the vehicle and capable of providing end users with a significant range of concrete benefits: high productivity, simple installation, long life, maximum operativity, true environmental sustainability and reduced operating costs.
