Environmental sustainability is a recurrent thought at FPT Industrial, whether related to the development of its powertrains or its corporate social responsibility projects. With its other sister brands, FPT helped CNH Industrial in becoming, for the ninth consecutive year, the Industry Leader in Machinery and Electrical Equipment in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), World and Europe.
The DJSI World and Europe assess companies in terms of their economic, environmental and social performances and are among the most prestigious sustainability-focused indices. CNH Industrial received a score of 88/100 this year, compared to an average of 79/100 from the other companies included in the same category.
This result further confirms that the Company is in the right path towards sustainable development. Going in the same direction of the group, FPT Industrial has several initiatives in this field, such as R&D activities with the highest technologies for less pollutant emissions, professional training for young people in less developed countries, as well as reforestation and sea cleaning projects.
