As part of its strategy to invest in alternative propulsions, FPT Industrial is participating in VISION-xEV, a project which contributes to the advancement of all kinds of future electrified powertrain systems. With the support of 14 partners and a total budget of € 3.9 million, VISION-xEV is funded by the European Commission as part of the European Green Vehicles Initiative, under the Horizon 2020 program.

The goal of VISION-xEV is to tackle the current challenges of emission limits and complexity of development and integration brof hybrid and electrified powertrainsbr. The project intends to do so by encouraging the collaboration of this group of automotive manufacturers, technology providers and research institutions.

As a pioneer in major breakthroughs and extensive knowledge of the market trends, FPT Industrial understands that there is not a single solution viable for all markets. To this end, last year, the Brand launched its e-Powertrain organization, a team entirely dedicated to the development of electric powertrain solutions. The collaboration with VISION-xEV contributes to FPT Industrial’s innovation activities and further reaffirms its position in the market as a multi-power solutions provider.​
