BORN AT THE END OF A MILLENNIUM, REDEFINING THE NEXT
CURSOR engines were introduced in 1998 under the IVECO brand, powering the Eurostar and quickly becoming one of the most popular engines for heavy-duty on-road applications with the industry and end users.
Engineered to take performance, fuel efficiency, and reliability beyond the standards provided by engines available at the time, CURSOR engines opened the door to new approaches in future engine development, such as electronically controlled high-pressure injection systems – innovations that were immediately welcomed by the industry and end users.
Originally launched exclusively as diesel engines, today CURSOR engines stand as one of the most direct expressions of FPT’s multi-energy strategy, available in Diesel and Natural Gas versions and ready for Hydrogen technology.
